Altavista

Larceny:  The Altavista Police Dept. is currently investigating a rash of larcenies from vehicles in the Bedford Ave area of the town. On the night of June 23rd, morning of June 24th subjects stole money and electronics, including a GPS unit, from several vehicles in the River Rd. area.

On the night of July 7th, morning of July 8th subjects stole again money, electronics, including DVD players and GPS units, from multiple vehicles and stole an automobile in the Beverly Heights neighborhood. The car was recovered a short distance from the scene.

Finally on the night of 14th, morning of July 15th a vehicle was entered on Bedford Ave and a Code 3 firefighter's light was stolen.
