Bedford City

Missing Person:  On April 7, 2000, the City of Bedford Police Department took a report of a missing person from the Food Lion located in the Peaksview Shopping Center on Longwood Avenue.  James Davis Walker of 2790 Cool Springs Road, Thaxton, VA went to the Food Lion store with Donald Adams, a friend.  When they arrived at the store, Walker told Adams that he was going to wait outside for him to return.  When Adams returned, he could not find Walker.  After a brief search, Adams contacted the police department.  Walker was last seen at the Food Lion store at approximately 10:45 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2000.  He is a white male, 54 years old, 6'7" tall, 140 lbs., balding with gray hair, and clean shaven.  He was wearing blue jeans, a black tee shirt, work boots, and a green baseball cap
