Campbell County

Vandalism:  The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating several acts of vandalism that occurred during the nighttime hours of Thursday, September 27, 2007.  Unknown suspect(s) vandalized a school bus that was parked at the Gladys Elementary School.  The suspect(s) also vandalized the Family Dollar Store in Rustburg and a building behind Timbrook Square on Timberlake Road.  During the commission of each offense, the suspect(s) used black and red spray paint to paint racial slurs and anti-Semitic markings and drawings.  Also painted were the words, “Chaos Crew”.  Investigators’ are in the process of analyzing surveillance video from one of the crime scenes.  Anyone with information regarding this crime should contact the Lynchburg Police Department at 455-6054 or Crime Stoppers.
