Larceny:
The Lynchburg Police Department is currently
investigating a larceny from a vehicle that occurred on the lot of the
Macado’s,

Candlers Mountain Road

Lynchburg
,
VA.
The theft took place in the evening hours on Wednesday, October 31, 2007.
The unidentified suspect
gained entry into the victim’s vehicle, a white Oldsmobile Bravada, by
breaking out the front passenger side window.
The suspect then stole a wallet out of the vehicle.
The wallet contained various items including one of the victim’s credit
cards. On
November
1, 2007
, the suspect used the
stolen credit card at Lowes,
8216 Timberlake Road
in
Lynchburg
and purchased $896 worth
of merchandise. Shortly thereafter,
the suspect, purchased $217 worth of groceries at the Food Lion on
Timberlake Rd.
The
credit card was also used to purchase $33.93 worth of gas at the Wilco/Hess
Store on Wards Rd. The suspect
is described as a black male and is approximately 6’1' to 6’2'
tall.
Larceny: The Lynchburg Police Department is currently
investigating a larceny from a vehicle that occurred on the lot of the Olive
Garden,
4038 Wards Road
,
Lynchburg
,
VA.
The theft took place in the evening hours on Monday, October 8, 2007. The
unidentified suspect gained entry into the victim’s vehicle, a black Honda
Accord, by breaking out the front passenger side window.
The suspect then stole a beige colored handbag out of the vehicle.
The hand bag contained various items including one of the victim’s
credit cards. Shortly thereafter,
the suspect attempted to use one of the stolen credit cards at Wal-Mart and
attempted to purchase $1,023.03 worth of electronic equipment.
The suspect, as seen in the video, is described as a black male, 6’3”
to 6’5” tall, slender build, wearing a white t-shirt, jeans, and a black
baseball cap. Also seen in the video
is the vehicle that the suspect was operating.
The vehicle is a white SUV.
Burglary:
The Lynchburg Police Department is currently investigating a burglary
that occurred at Touch of Class Car Wash
located at
2001
12th Street
,
Lynchburg
.
On Friday, September 14, 2007, between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 7:45
a.m. unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the closed business by breaking out a
window near the front door. Upon
entry, the suspect(s) stole an MTX 500D amplifier valued at $450.00 and a
Panasonic cordless phone.
Larceny:
The Lynchburg Police Department is currently investigating a reported
grand larceny that occurred at the Sunshine Express Market located at

Pollard Street

Lynchburg
.
On
Sunday,
September 09, 2007
,
at approximately
1:30p.m.
,
unknown suspect(s) stole two (2) used air conditioning units valued at
$1,500.00 from the business property. Surveillance
video regarding the offense shows three (3) male subjects arrive at the
location in two (2) vehicles. The
first vehicle, an older model pickup truck occupied by one male, drove onto the
business property and parked near the air conditioning units.
The second vehicle, a light colored 4 door sedan occupied by two males,
parked on
Pollard Street
. The
male subjects then loaded the air conditioning units into the bed of the
pickup. Both vehicles then drove
away on
Pollard Street
.
